Quaker Meetings are every Sunday 10:30-11:30am

Quakers in Pickering can be traced right back to the beginning of the Quaker movement in 1652. The present meeting house was built in 1793 and retains much of it's original character.

Travelling to us

The current Meeting House is near the castle, in Castlegate, which is signposted from top of Market Place.

  • Nearest train station: Malton (8 miles)
  • Bus services:  Malton/York (840), and Scarborough/Helmsley (128) to Pickering.
  • Car parking usually available outside Meeting House. Please contact us for details.

Children & Young people

We are very happy to welcome children and young people to our Meeting at any time. A children's class will be available on the 4th Sunday of every month. On other Sundays we have books, toys and a little outdoor equipment, all of which can be used under the supervision of the child's parent or carer.

A class for Children and Young people. All ages welcome.

Children and young people are welcome every Sunday. We have a selection of activities for them to enjoy with parental supervision.

On the fourth Sunday of every month there is a childrens class run by Quakers.
